Job summary

NRI Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a behavioral health team within a secure correctional facility in Washington, DC. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with pay at $50 per hour.

You will administer medications, perform nursing assessments, document care, monitor safety, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in a fast-paced, structured environment. Shifts include 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; part-time requires

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health and working in secure facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Complete nursing assessments and evaluate patient conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral or medical concerns.
• Assist with medication administration alongside the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, LPNs, and other clinical staff.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations.
