Job summary

Lifepoint Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC. This full-time role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment and requires current RN licensure in the practicing state.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, nursing interventions, accurate documentation, and care planning, with opportunities for professional growth within Lifepoint Health’s network.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred but not required.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
