Job summary

Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital in Tucson, AZ invites experienced Registered Nurses to join our behavioral health team. You will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care across physical and behavioral health needs, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and policies.

We offer competitive pay with a $12,000 bonus for full-time hires, a pricing-rate of $36–$51 per hour depending on experience, and a 3/12 shift schedule with every other weekend. PRN availability also exists.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Must possess a current RN license or be eligible to practice per state requirements.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Follow nursing practice standards per state regulations and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians' orders are transcribed legibly and accurately.
