Job summary

Catholic Care Center in Kansas is seeking an RN Staff Nurse to join our Senior Behavioral Health Program. This role provides professional nursing care under physician direction and coordinates care within the multidisciplinary team, with possible Charge Nurse responsibilities.

The nurse will promote safe, age-appropriate care for older adults, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team. Licensure in Kansas as an RN is required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Kansas with a two-year nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in hospital care setting or senior living RN role; 2 years preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with ADLs.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document in medical records.
• Lead nursing care as assigned and collaborate with the treatment team.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain therapeutic, age-appropriate care for older adults.
