Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Resource Specialist to support behavioral health services across EDs, medical floors, and inpatient units. You will collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to improve patient throughput and access.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and strong communication, organization, and data skills. Position offers hybrid work at 399 Revolution Drive with per diem scheduling and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Experience in the mental health care field is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate referrals for various behavioral health care levels across ED, medical/surgical units and inpatient units.
• Monitor system-wide capacity to guide placement efforts.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams inside and outside MGB.
• Document and track tasks in Epic or other systems.
• Assist with data collection, tracking, data analysis in Excel, and reporting in PowerPoint.
• Handle central access communications via calls, emails, and Teams chats.
• Provide cross-coverage for admissions, bed searches, and central disposition.
