AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift at our Shawnee Mission facility in Kansas. The RN provides patient-centered care, nursing assessments, and care coordination across disciplines, while supporting patients and families with education and discharge planning.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active RN license in Kansas, with BLS.

Behavioral Health Registered Nurse – Part-Time Location: AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Schedule: Part-Time |Nights
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This position collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. The RN provides physical, emotional, and educational support to patients and families and may supervise assigned healthcare team members to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care. Care is provided in accordance with facility policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable state nurse practice acts.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Compensation adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.
Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
One year of acute care hospital nursing experience preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the assigned department, specialty area, patient population, facility, or state regulations.

Pay Range: $32.83 - $61.05
