Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to lead milieu management and direct patient care across nursing staff. You will assess patients, implement care plans, and ensure safe medication administration in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.

The role requires thorough documentation, ongoing professional development, and adherence to Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to develop an individualized care plan.
• Identify risk levels and plan discharge to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding interventions.
• Administer medications safely and provide patient education on prescriptions.
• Maintain thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient progress.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders per policy and document care accurately.
• Float among clinical services and support staff as needed.
