Job summary

Adolescent Wellness Academy is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health Recruiter on a 1099 contract basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective candidates, listening with care and helping us find the right people for our clinical and support teams.

This remote role supports a portfolio of about 10 open roles with several prioritized for active sourcing each week. You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting—from sourcing and screening to interviews, references, and offers—using Breezy HR.

Qualifications

• At least two years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruiting.
• Experience recruiting in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or a closely related clinical setting.
• Experience working independently and responsively in a remote role.
• Strong candidate communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system.

Remote Behavioral Health Recruiter

1099 Contract | Remote | $20/hour + Hiring Bonus

Behind every application is a person considering where they want to do meaningful work. You’ll be their first connection to our team. We’re looking for a recruiter who listens well, communicates with care, and helps us find the right people for the adolescents and adults we serve.

You’ll manage recruiting for clinical, operational, and support positions. Your initial portfolio will include approximately 10 open roles, with three or four prioritized for active sourcing each week.

What you’ll bring

Required

• At least two years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruiting.
• Experience recruiting in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or a closely related clinical setting.
• Experience working independently and responsively in a remote role.
• Strong candidate communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system.

Preferred

• Florida residency and familiarity with Florida clinical qualifications and licensure.
• Experience with Topgrading or another structured interview framework.
• Previous contract work or experience managing a flexible portfolio of searches.
• Experience recruiting for adolescent programs or PHP/IOP services.

Hours and compensation

This role provides 15 hours of recruiting work per week at $20 per hour while the contract is active. Additional searches and hours may be offered by mutual agreement. The contract does not have a guaranteed duration.

• Eligible hire, After the first day worked, After 90 days of employment, Total bonus
• Support or operational role, $100, $150, $250
• Licensed clinical role, $100, $400, $500

We’ll agree on bonuses for leadership or specialized roles before those searches begin. The contract will define bonus eligibility.
