Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Quality Improvement professional to lead and coach designated clinical practices in implementing redesign and quality improvement strategies. The role focuses on improving patient outcomes, provider efficiency, and total cost of care, with remote work flexibility for Colorado-based staff.

The position requires experience in behavioral health programs, strong communication skills, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in behavioral health, mental health, integrated behavioral health, or related clinical setting.
• 2+ years supporting behavioral health programs, behavioral health quality improvement initiatives, and/or behavioral health provider practices.
• General knowledge of business, health care and health care coverage issues.
• Proven excellent written communications skills and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and functions at all levels of the organization and external customers.
• Resident of Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with internal and external entities to support RMHMO's reputation as a leader in managed health care.
• Provide leadership to embed the organizational philosophy and culture.
• Deliver behavioral health quality improvement programs and projects to guide care redesign and population management.
• Assist in developing and testing assessment tools and processes.
• Provide practice support to facilitate coordination, development, teaching, implementation, and evaluation of provider practices in Clinical Quality Improvement Programs.
• Introduce and educate new provider practices to the program.
• Support practice participants via email, phone, site visits, assessments, and status reports.
• Collaborate with the clinical performance management team on program design and implementation.
