Job summary

North Texas Behavioral Health Authority in Dallas seeks a Quality Management Specialist to lead quality assurance and improvement activities, including audits and care-related investigations. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field is required.
• LPHA license (RN, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) preferred in Texas.
• Three years or more experience in psychiatric and/or substance abuse health care settings or managed care quality management.
• Ability to learn quickly, work in fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with UM/CM staff to identify and resolve quality of care concerns.
• Oversees investigations of complaints and quality concerns.
• Acts as liaison between consumers and treatment providers to resolve issues.
• Reviews treatment records to determine deviations from standard of care.
• Develops and monitors quality improvement projects per contract.
