Job summary

JWCH Institute, Inc + Wesley Health Centers in Los Angeles seeks a Behavioral Health Quality Assurance Manager to oversee QA and training across DMH programs, ensuring compliant operations and effective staff development.

Responsibilities include maintaining training materials, DMH-aligned policies, overseeing EHR workflows, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery for underserved populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, social welfare, psychology, marriage, family and child counseling, and/or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university.
• MFT / LCSW with current California BBS license for 2 years.
• Administrative experience coordinating care across multiple programs for 2+ years.
• Experience with Electronic Health Recording (EHR).
• Experience overseeing Department of Mental Health contracts for 2+ years.
• Experience supervising clinical staff and interns for 2+ years.
• Experience with quality assurance and contract compliance for 2+ years.
• Experience working with low income and/or homeless individuals.
• Knowledge of trauma and substance abuse impact on behavioral and medical conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase productivity through quality assurance measures.
• Provide oversight and supervision for identified staff.
• Develop & maintain training manual and procedures for new hires and current staff.
• Develop and maintain Policies & Procedures aligned with DMH standards.
• Attend outside meetings and disseminate information to Leads/Programs.
• Assist in internal compliance meetings.
• Understand EHR systems (Welligent and NextGen).
• Provide ongoing professional development for clinicians and other providers.
• Continuous improvement on screening, referral, enrollment using LEAN/PDSA.
• Design and maintain training and QA program with monthly peer reviews and DMH QA plan.
