Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks an experienced provider relations professional to serve as the primary resource for Behavioral Health providers, managing complex Medicaid policies, contracts, and provider education needs.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with providers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring service levels meet contractual expectations while maintaining compliance and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience in healthcare.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Medicaid Managed Care business segment environment servicing providers with exposure to benefits and/or contract interpretation.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with providers and contracts in the behavioral health sector.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Travel within the defined territory up to 50-80% of the time.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Louisiana within the specified parishes.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes interactions with assigned providers and internal partners to establish productive relationships.
• Monitors service capabilities and collaborates cross-functionally to meet needs and resolve escalated issues.
• Supports operational activities such as database management and contract coordination.
• Performs credentialing support activities as needed.
• Educates Medicaid providers to ensure contract compliance and proper processes.
• Meets with key providers to ensure service levels meet expectations.
• Manages agendas, prepares materials, and facilitates external provider meetings.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on provider-focused communications and workflows.
• May provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
