Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, CO is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Provider / Instructor in its Sheridan Health Services clinic. This open-rank, non-tenure clinical track position combines direct behavioral health services with teaching responsibilities for graduate students.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide therapy across ages, coordinate care, participate in meetings and supervision, and contribute to community health outreach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or closely related field.
• One year of post-degree work experience in behavioral health.
• Registration with DORA and potential CO licensure during application.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief behavioral health therapy and screenings in an integrated medical setting for patients across the lifespan (ages 0-99).
• Provide general outpatient behavioral health treatment via individual therapy, care coordination, crisis management, skill building, and psycho-education to ages 0-99.
• Conduct therapy and integrated care screenings virtually via telehealth platform per patient and clinic staffing needs.
• Contribute as a member of multidisciplinary teams (comprised of medical, psychiatry, dental, pharmacy, patient navigation, health education, and other BHPs) in delivering behavioral health services to patients.
• Provide care coordination with providers of service including but not limited to primary care providers, school personnel, family members, patient navigators, and other mental health and community partners.
