Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in mental health field and licensure to practice psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Registered Nurse with BSN and three years of psychiatric nursing experience and licensure.
• Experience in inpatient, partial hospital, or intensive outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily partial hospitalization program activities and staff; including evaluation of performance.
• Coordinates program staff work schedule.
• Communicates with payers to ensure authorization of insurance benefits.
• Assists billing office in collection of fees.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary team planning as appropriate.
• Monitors program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assists Director, Behavioral Medicine with development and implementation of business plan including marketing activities with inpatient units and community referral sources.
