Job summary

Akua Behavioral Health in Newport Beach is seeking a Program Director to lead policy development, staff onboarding, and program operations at the facility. This salaried role includes on-call responsibilities, weekend and evening hours, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations and accreditation standards.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure client rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with the Medical Director, CEO, and CCO to deliver high-quality clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of mental health/administration experience.
• Ability to obtain CA licensure as LMFT/LCSW/LPCC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Maintain compliance with Federal/State laws and accrediting standards.
• Oversee budgets, admissions, discharges, and quality of care.
• Provide on-call leadership outside regular hours.
