Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced behavioral health leader to oversee staffing, regulatory compliance and quality initiatives across our Morristown, NJ facilities. The role requires clinical supervision, program development and collaboration with service line leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Master's in social work counseling or Doctoral Degree in Psychology.
• 5+ years of experience in Mental Health/Behavioral Medicine or relevant area.
• 2 years of experience in clinical supervisory and service management.
• NJ state licensure in LCSW, LPC or Psychologist.

Aufgaben

• Maintains staffing ratios and schedules in accordance with state regulations throughout all shifts.
• Works with county screening center to coordinate services and patient care needs
• Reviews and approves payroll requirements for the department
• Provides administrative on-call services as needed
• Maintains workflows and team member assignments
• Provides direct patient intervention when needed
• Supervise and evaluate team member performance
• Develop and maintain a chart review process and team member education process
• Implement a competency training program
• Complete and review team member performance evaluations, talent development goals and operational performance
• Conduct supervision related to patient/collateral assessment and interaction, documentation and disposition planning
• Collaborates with service line leadership to design, implement, monitor and report on quality and performance initiatives
• Author and present at QI/PI engagements
• Develop monitoring plans to retain compliance with regulatory, state and programmatic standards
• Complete all required regulator, grant, state and program reporting
• Update and complete all required grant, financial and program reporting requirements in collaboration with the Service Line Manager and Director.
• Participates in county system review meetings and state required reporting/training meetings
• Collaborates with departmental leadership to develop, author and implement policies, guidelines and procedures
• Ensures policies meet standards defined by regulatory bodies and system policies
• Maintain interdepartmental workflows, integrity of patient care needs and complete reviews
• Budgetary and financial responsibilities: plan and propose departmental budgets
• Maintain reporting needs for philanthropy funded positions, including financial reports and business plans
• Coding, billing and charges for the department alignment with reporting needs
• Patient care coordination with Risk Management and Health Information Management
• Complete direct patient and family intervention and debriefings
• Provide education and direction to the care team regarding admission and evaluation processes
• Provide direct patient care including assessments, de-escalation, collateral/family contact and disposition planning
• Assist with community and interagency educational requests
• Complete system and site in-service education and learning initiatives
• Complete community educational initiatives for various agencies and age ranges
