BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (BHP):

Behavioral Health Professionals work directly with children/youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities, or cognitive limitations, offering in-home and community support services. BHP’s work independently providing one-to-one support services to children, and are integral as part of a collaborative Treatment Team to help children acquire appropriate lifelong and behavioral skills.

Job Description

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (BHP):

Behavioral Health Professionals work directly with children/youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities, or cognitive limitations, offering in-home and community support services. BHP’s work independently providing one-to-one support services to children, and are integral as part of a collaborative Treatment Team to help children acquire appropriate lifelong and behavioral skills.

  • Ability to satisfactorily complete a 35 hour BHP certification course (Provided by North Shore Behavioral Health)

REQUIREMENTS: All candidates must be 18 years old/high school diploma and be willing to become BHP Certified within 12 months of employment.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma

  • Eligible to work in the United States
