Successful candidates must be eligible for or have a State of Maine Educational Technician certification, and an approved CRC (Criminal Records Check) through the Maine Department of Education. The candidate should currently hold or be willing to receive training from District personnel for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification. Candidate should have an understanding of students with behavioral and mental health needs in the public school setting.

This is a full-time position of 35 hours per week. Ed Tech III starting pay with no prior experience is $19.04 per hour and increases based on experience in alignment with the collective bargaining agreement. Ed Tech's who are BHP certified and working in this position will receive an additional $1 per hour.
