Job summary

What You’ll Do

As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will work directly with children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. Services are provided in homes, and community settings under MaineCare Section 28.

Your work will focus on helping children build skills such as:

  • Communication and social skills
  • Positive behavior and coping strategies
  • Daily living and problem solving skills
  • Healthy relationships and community engagement

You will work closely with caregivers and the treatment team to help children practice these skills in their everyday environments.
