Job summary

Maine Immigrant & Refugee Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Professional for in-home support to children in Lewiston and Auburn. You will work one-on-one with children, focusing on daily living, social, communication, and safety skills as part of the Section 28 team.

Flexible evenings and weekends per diem, with pay rates $18–$20/hour based on experience. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have high school/GED diploma; an Associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children.
• Attend all required trainings.
• Must have 100k/300k auto liability insurance as they will commute to client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Attend trainings and weekly supervision.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Be punctual and consistent with client appointments.
• Follow a comprehensive and detailed treatment plan with goals and client needs.
• Assist with developing daily living, social, communication and safety skills.
• Work with client and family to increase independence.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Location: Lewiston and Auburn

Position: Fee for Services/Per diem - evenings and weekends

Rate: $18 - $20per hour (based on experience)

Maine Immigrant & Refugee Services is looking for kindhearted, compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team to provide in-home support for children. Our Section 28 team supports children with autism, Asperger’s, ADD/ADHD, cognitive disorders and other developmental delays to gain the skills needed to be independent in their homes and communities. You will be working one-on-one with children and their families as an essential member of the treatment team, helping them build daily living, social, communication and safety skills.

• 1. Must attend and be compliance with trainings and weekly supervisions
