Job summary

Northeast Family Services in New Hampshire is seeking an Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time schedule.

You will implement behavior support plans, collect data, and report to the supervising BCBA, working with families, in-person or via telehealth.

Benefits include supervision for BCBA/BCaBA credentials, RBT training with certification support, flexible hours, and up to $20 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work after school and evening hours.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

The Autism Specialist Professional will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior, and the provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professional will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior and skill acquisition, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professional will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, either in-person or via a telehealth modality, and the client’s family, to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications:

• Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.
• Northeast Family Services supports uncertified in obtaining the Registered Behavior Technician credential by offering RBT 40 hour training, initial competency assessment, ongoing skills-based supervision, and a $100 bonus upon obtaining RBT credential.
