Qualifications

• Must complete at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in Behavioral Sciences or related fields, plus at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience.
• Work experience: 4,000 hours in delivering services to adults or children with mental illness, substance use disorder, etc.
• Must pass a criminal background check through MN DHS NetStudy.
• Access to a personal vehicle and ability to use it in job responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under the agency’s automobile policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services in home, community, school, or office to help clients cope with mental health symptoms.
• Deliver client education, documentation, and treatment plan development.
• Coordinate care and participate in interdisciplinary care meetings and supervision.
• Complete intake paperwork, screeners, and assessments as needed.
• Maintain client-centered documentation and ensure billable hours targets are met.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and community integration.
