Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking an Administrative Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations across CBHC and BHUC outpatient services in Western Massachusetts. The role partners with CBHC and BHUC leadership to enhance access, efficiency, and compliance while supporting clinical managers and site leaders.

You will oversee front-end administrative workflows, revenue cycle processes, and regulatory readiness, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, Human Services, or Social Work; or bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ mental health/substance use experience.
• 3 years of supervisory/management experience required.
• Broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques.
• Demonstrates cultural competence in dealing with diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Standardizes operational and administrative best practices across all sites; develops and updates workflows for consistency and efficiency.
• Monitors key operational metrics and drives data-informed process improvements.
• Leads change management initiatives and standardization across sites to improve access and throughput.
• Oversees daily access and scheduling operations in collaboration with clinical leadership.
• Maintains knowledge of CBHC and BHUC workflows and supports standardized processes for timely access and care delivery.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements across locations.
• Governs front-end administrative and revenue cycle workflows to optimize throughput.
• Conducts quality assurance audits on new workflows and processes.
