Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH) has a part-time opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based primarily in a new Aberdeen, MD facility. You will support behavioral health physicians across inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care settings under medical direction, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a collaborative team structure.

Qualifications

• Master of Science with completion of a PMH Nurse Practitioner program.
• Hold an unrestricted license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist attending Behavioral Health physicians in all aspects of psychiatric care.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians responsible for the patient.
• Provide psychiatric services in inpatient, day treatment, IP/Ops, and urgent care settings.
• Work Monday through Friday with a shared call rotation among five providers.
• Foster a healthy work/life balance within a vast behavioral health continuum.
• Ideal candidate has at least two years of patient care experience as a PMHNP.
