August Rose Health Center is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for remote telehealth in Maryland on a part-time contract (1099). Our CARF-accredited outpatient mental health center provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive care since 2018, and we’re adding a prescriber to expand access to medication management.

You will perform diagnostic evaluations and ongoing video-based medication management, treat all ages, assess risk, document in InSync EHR with EPCS, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for adults, children and adolescents.
• Maryland CRNP-PMH certification with active PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Active Maryland DEA registration and Maryland CDS registration.
• Registered with the Maryland PDMP (CRISP) or willing to register before start date.
• At least 2 years of psychiatric prescribing experience (new grads with Maryland mentor considered).
• Professional liability insurance of $1M per claim / $3M aggregate.
• Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
• Must be enrolled with Maryland Medicaid, or willing to enroll (assistance provided).
• Child and adolescent experience; community mental health/PRP exposure.

Responsabilités

• Complete psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management by video.
• Treat adults, children and adolescents for mood, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, serious mental illness and co-occurring conditions.
• Assess risk at every visit and coordinate with the clinical team on crisis needs.
• Document in InSync EHR with e-prescribing (EPCS).
• Handle refills and prior authorizations within 2 business days.
• Join virtual treatment team and case consultation meetings.
