Sentara Health in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Behavioral Health psychiatrist to join the interdisciplinary Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry team. You will provide psychiatric care to medically complex and emergent patients across Sentara’s facilities, closely collaborating with ED, medical, and surgical teams, with strong interdisciplinary support.

The role features a 7 on/7 off schedule (7a-7p) at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, with inpatient and ED co-management and virtual consults

Practice Highlights

• Primary assignment: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (Woodbridge, VA)
• Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off (7a-7p)
• Daily co-management of ED behavioral health patients
• Inpatient consults on behavioral, medical, and surgical units
• Virtual consult support to Sentara Rockingham Memorial Center, and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital
• No inpatient psych admissions (handled by dedicated inpatient psychiatrists)
• Strong interdisciplinary support: APPs, therapists, navigators, case managers

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $306,134.40 - $338,374.40 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
