Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations. You will assist with patient pickup, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate billing and records.

Responsibilities include inventory control, data entry, and adherence to safety protocols while collaborating with the care team to support patients with behavioral health needs. This role may require evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy tech training preferred.
• Active CPhT certification preferred or required depending on state regulations.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Preparation and Dispensing: assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Customer Service: provide friendly, efficient service to patients and providers.
• Inventory Management: manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and audits.
• Data Entry and Record‑Keeping: input prescriptions and maintain patient profiles.
• Medication Safety and Quality Assurance: follow safety protocols and monitor for errors.
• Supportive Duties: schedule, training, and administrative tasks for pharmacists.
