Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy operations in Rapid City, SD. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties while ensuring compliance.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am–5pm MST. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour, with benefits including a comprehensive package and 401k contributions.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted SD Pharmacy Technician license.
• Need access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies; processes medication orders.
• Maintains inventory records and verifies stock.
• Assists in pharmacy functions to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates professionally, verbally and in writing.
• May assist with deliveries as needed.
