The Behavioral Health Paraprofessional is responsible for helping clients identify and achieve their goals and meet their needs through being the resident liaison. Acting as a safety observer for both the clients and the facility, this highly responsible position involves providing transportation for residents and assisting residents in a supportive manner to follow facility rules and seek assistance from the clinical or administrative staff to help the client achieve their goals. The role runs in three shifts to enable 24/7 coverage of the facility and may require additional shift work in the event of an emergency or disaster.
