Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services under physician supervision at our Monroe, LA locations. You will take patient histories, conduct exams, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate care with the treatment team to support opioid addiction recovery.

The ideal candidate has a current NP license and DEA, CPR/First Aid, and experience with addiction treatment or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Licensed NP in the state of employment.
Current DEA license and CPR/First Aid Certification.
Experience or understanding of chemical addiction preferred.
High integrity, sound judgment, and efficient work ethic.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Proficiency in basic computing and data entry.
Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and order diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with clinical protocols.
Monitor therapeutic interventions and coordinate patient care with healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with medical quality standards and regulations.
Attend training sessions and participate in outreach activities.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and attend treatment team meetings.
Maintain knowledge of current drug abuse trends and treatment.
Assist nursing team and report any workplace hazards or security issues.
