Job summary

Family Care Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct psychiatric and medical care in an outpatient setting at Midtown Clinic. You will perform evaluations, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an NCCPA-approved physician assistant program.
• 1-year clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health preferred.
• Active PA license in the state and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to determine diagnoses and care coordination needs.
• Provide psychiatric/medical services within standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete medical records and accurate clinical/billing documentation.
• Orders, monitors, and evaluates medications for psychiatric and related conditions.
• Coordinate care with families, PCPs and other specialists to ensure timely treatment.
• Attend weekly supervisory meetings with the supervising physician.
