Qualifications

• Education: OTA associate degree and state license.
• Experience in Behavioral Health or geriatrics/pediatrics preferred.
• Maintains current Rhode Island license; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical practice per AOTA standards.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Under OT supervision, apply Evidence Based Practice to inform decisions.
• Apply OT Practice Framework concepts in care.
• Build knowledge of OT Theory for assessments and interventions.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures.
• Respond to consultations within 24 hours.
• Document evaluations and interventions per policy.
• Collaborate with OT team and treatment staff.
• Provide feedback to students and interns.
• Attend department meetings and ongoing education.
• Maintain National Board Certification and RI state licensure.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week; Full Time; Day shifts; Partial Hospital position.
