Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Connecticut (BSN preferred).
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing supervisor experience.
• Behavioral health experience preferred; ISC/PHRS systems helpful.
• Experience planning and implementing education programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees new hire orientation for Behavioral Health staff.
• Coordinates Nursing Education programs and regulatory compliance.
• Educates staff on quarterly outcome improvement efforts.
• Directs orientation of new hires into clinical settings.
• Plans and evaluates training for licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Tracks education using Relias LMS per CT DPH and CMS.
• Maintains unit standards of care and overall cleanliness.
• Supervises staff performance and participates in committee work.
• Supports survey preparedness and corrective action planning.
