Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a registered nurse to deliver focused behavioral and physical health care across a diverse client base. You will support treatment plans, monitor medications, and educate patients about pharmacology in a collaborative setting.

The role requires travel within the assigned service area, a nursing degree, and an active RN license. Experience in mental health and with developmental disabilities is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Education
