Job summary
BBH Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) or Nurse Care Manager to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team in Independence and Kansas City, MO. You will provide direct nursing care, support treatment planning, administer medications, and educate clients and families as part of a recovery‑oriented approach.

Qualifications
- Must hold a current LPN or RN license in Missouri.
- Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use services.
- Assess physical and emotional health needs and contribute to treatment planning.
- Administer medications and monitor progress and responses to treatment.
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other professionals.
- Educate clients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
