Job summary

Comprehensive Behavioral Health Associates (CBHA) in Steubenville, Ohio seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with behavioral health experience to join our outpatient team. This W-2, full-time role offers a 70 hourly rate, flexible scheduling, and administrative support to manage your caseload.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with therapists and staff. Active Ohio NP license and DEA license are required; NPI/CAQH/Medicaid enrollment preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio NP license is required.
• DEA license or ability to obtain is required.
• Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or substance use treatment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload is expected.
• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and administrative staff.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency standards.
• Participate in case consultations as needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.
