Hope Haven seeks a Medication Specialist to support safe, accurate medication administration for residents in a 24/7 residential setting. You will work with the NP and clinical team to maintain medication records and ensure timely access to care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, three years in related fields, and a Medication Administration Certification or within 90 days of hire. CPR/First Aid certification, HIPAA knowledge, and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience in behavioral health, residential services, healthcare support, medication support, human services, or a related field.
• Medication Administration Certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Professional demeanor with diverse populations; maintain boundaries and respond calmly to resident concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly to resident medication needs and seek supervisory assistance when needed.
• Maintain and update MARs for residents with complete, accurate documentation.
• Conduct weekly reviews of medication records and resident needs.
• Assist with audits and correct medication-documentation deficiencies per policy.
• Complete incident reports for medication errors or related concerns.
• Coordinate and schedule medical appointments for residents with the NP.
