The MA will monitor appointments, process referrals, and schedule follow-ups while delivering strong customer service. Data accuracy and HIPAA safeguards are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required; credentialed MA program completed.
• Associates degree in healthcare or science preferred.
• 1–2 years MA experience in healthcare, preferably behavioral health or medical.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred; valid AZ license expected.

Responsibilities

• Care and coordination of members assigned to care team.
• Complete daily clinic tasks and ensure safe clinic flow.
• Monitor and track appointments; follow up on no-shows.
• Process referrals and schedule follow-up and specialty appointments.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Ensure patient data accuracy and HIPAA compliance.
