Job summary

CODAC Behavioral Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide medical and office support within our behavioral health and primary care clinics in Tucson. You will assist in integrated care plans, perform health assessments, take vital signs, and support members through diagnostic testing and medication management.

This role requires CMA certification, at least one year of clinical experience, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• At least 1 year experience in a clinical setting, including office duties, customer service, insurance and billing, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of integrated care services with clinical staff.
• Perform integrated healthcare assessments and annual updates.
• Assist in development, implementation, and revision of integrated service plans; monitor progress toward treatment goals.
• Assist with medical interventions and diagnostic testing; inform members about test results and interventions.
• Take vital signs and assist with injections as directed.
• Administer medication self-management support and assist with medication lists.
• Obtain urine drug screen samples when appropriate.
• Review referrals and ensure charting and documentation accuracy.
• Perform general office duties and manage charting in accordance with requirements.
