Responsibilities include coordinating with PCPs, scheduling, and ensuring accurate documentation in electronic medical records. A Medical Assistant certificate is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required; CPR/First Aid certifications maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine medical assisting duties including vital signs, specimen collection, ECGs, and basic exams.
• Coordinate care with PCPs, schedule appointments, follow up, and obtain medical records.
• Document services accurately in electronic medical records and support treatment team.
• Complete prior authorizations/medication appeals and respond to pharmacy needs.
