Collin County Mental Health Retardation Center is seeking a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to support adult and child/youth behavioral health needs across outpatient programs in McKinney, TX. The role collaborates with psychiatric providers, PCPs, and NPs to ensure smooth clinic flow and timely appointments.

The LVN will administer medications, perform phlebotomy and routine labs, provide health education, and assist with patient referrals and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and valid Texas LVN license.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred; outpatient behavioral health experience valued.
• Current CPR certification required; strong documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Support adults and children/youth across outpatient behavioral health programs.
• Administer medications, perform phlebotomy, and collect labs as ordered.
• Assist with health education, prior authorizations, and care coordination.
• Monitor patients, triage phone inquiries, and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, PCPs, and NPs to ensure clinic flow.
