Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Orange, CA seeks LVN/LPN to provide direct nursing care within a multidisciplinary behavioral health setting. You will support safe medication administration, monitor patient status, and contribute to recovery-oriented care under supervision.

The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with RNs and physicians across the treatment continuum. Requires nursing licensure and CPR/First Aid; CPI and Serv Safe certifications are expected

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with current licensure in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in mental health, chemical dependency, or eating disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of medications, dosing ranges, and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a behavioral health population in a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Collect clinical data and perform vital signs to inform care planning.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document MAR updates.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Document incidents and maintain compliant clinical records.
