Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland LPN license, has CPR/BLS certification, and may have Corrections experience. Must be able to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid Maryland license.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure safety and compliance within correctional setting.
• Collaborate with behavioral health team to coordinate care and support treatment plans.
