Job summary

Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix provides behavioral and mental health treatment programs for adults and teens in inpatient and outpatient settings. This role focuses on intake, medication management, scheduling and vitals in a busy academic psychiatry center.

The position requires a current LPN/LVN license, BLS certification, and experience in medical office settings. It involves collaborating with residents, providers and healthcare teams in a Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or LVN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Temporary or compact licensure acceptable in some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patient care under RN/MD supervision.
• Assist with nursing plan of care and discharge planning.
• Deliver delegated nursing interventions per orders and policy.
• Communicate patient status to the care team regularly.
• Document observations, interventions and patient responses.
• Coordinate and update patient assessment data per regulations.
• Assist with admissions processing and information to families.
• Work in a fast-paced clinical setting with patient service focus.
• Collaborate with residents, providers and students as needed.
