Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Norwood, MA is seeking an Administrative Intake Coordinator for CBHC. You will screen new consumers, collect demographics and insurance information, and determine routing to CBHC or Outpatient based on insurance, recording details in the EHR.

You will collaborate on scheduling initial intakes and urgent evaluations as needed. Position offers a $22.00/hour rate with a Monday–Saturday schedule and benefits described by Riverside.

Qualifications

• Screens all new consumers for admission to the clinic by telephone or in-person; gathers basic demographics, a brief clinical description and insurance information.
• Makes insurance-based determinations to route to CBHC or Outpatient program and documents in the EHR.
• Collaborates with Clinical Triage/Intake Coordinator to schedule initial intakes and other clinicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Screens new consumers for admission by phone or in-person and collects demographics, clinical description and insurance details.
• Determines admission routing (CBHC vs OP) based on insurance and documents in the EHR.
• Coordinates scheduling of initial intakes and urgent evaluations as needed; facilitates urgent outpatient care.
