Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Inpatient Float. The role involves assessing patients, planning and delivering nursing care, and maintaining detailed medical records during night shifts on the behavioral health inpatient unit.

Qualified RNs will have PA licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and tuition discounts for eligible employees and dependents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact license.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.
• Minimum one year inpatient (med/surg, telemetry, PCU, ICU) or ED experience preferred.
• PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Float pool assignment for behavioral health inpatient unit at Holy Spirit.
