Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center is seeking an RN Inpatient for the Progressive Care Unit at Camp Hill, PA. This full-time night shift position offers a 0.90 FTE and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

The RN will assess, plan, and administer nursing care for inpatient patients, while maintaining accurate medical records and monitoring patient conditions. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license and BLS; ACLS is required before orientation ends.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.
• ACLS certification required prior to end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications; monitor for adverse reactions and side effects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and health records; advise on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
