Job summary

Summit BHC in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks a Facility Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead day-to-day operations and drive the facility's strategic plan, including care quality, staff development, licensure, and regulatory compliance.

The CEO will oversee budgets, contract negotiations with payers, and development of outpatient and community programs, while guiding leadership teams and ensuring performance improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Clinical or related discipline.
• MBA/MHA preferred for advanced leadership.
• 3+ years in senior leadership or CEO role in behavioral health, acute care, or managed care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the governing body to develop budgets and strategic plans.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and staff to meet objectives.
• Leads contract negotiations and compliance with payers.
• Drives quality of care, licensure, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and performance improvement across the facility.
