Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Substance BHT/Driver for our Outpatient Program in Metairie, LA. You will support clinical teams with admissions, transportation, meals, medications, and supervision while ensuring safety and a warm recovery environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification (preferred), and at least one year in the treatment industry. If you are in recovery, one year sobriety is required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of all motor vehicle laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Record and report any critical communications/incidents promptly.
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
• Monitor transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients on peer support level during transport, assist with luggage.
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
