Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to lead the department and ensure care aligns with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards. The role involves directing resources, budgeting, staffing, and coordinating audits to meet organizational objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Social Work required.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• Lifespan licensure requirements and professional credentials as noted.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with requirements.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
• Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
